Whilst I have an extreme fondness for wandering the streets of my town, I do from time to time exercise some good sense and realise that sometimes, it is safer for me to jump in a cab to get home when it is late!  I have often chatted away with the cabbie, asking them about who they are and what they do, I have met all sorts of interesting people, ( Read more... )

Well, I did it, I got up early yesterday, took care of the Saturday morning chores and wandered off to Newtown to procure a Zucchini character... finding that I managed to bite of a chunk with some pretty serious chilli in it, the Courty became an attractive beacon.  I enjoyed a beverage or two while I finished off Mistry's A Fine Balance.  And ( Read more... )
